My Approach

My Approach

I am a skilled and experienced integrative psychotherapist who offers individual therapy to teens and adults. I also offer family and group therapy. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of concerns, and with people from many different cultural backgrounds and ages. I am rooted in a social justice and anti-oppressive framework and I firmly believe in your right to forge your own path in life. I welcome people of any race, gender, orientation, and identity.

I believe that healing and growth happen when one is connected to a sense of safety, and can engage their mind, physical body, emotions, and higher self. To help this process, I am trained in a number of “left brain/right brain,” and body-based approaches including EMDR, Expressive Arts Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reiki, and Guided Imagery. I love supporting people in creative, out-of-the-box ways, especially when they feel that talk therapy has run its course.

My colleagues and clients appreciate my warmth, ease, and humor, as well as my passionate commitment to helping people live their most rewarding lives.

In my practice, I work with the following issues:

  • Addiction
  • Anxiety
  • Cognitive Dissonance
  • Depression
  • Identity/Self
  • Prenatal Stress
  • Postpartum Depression & Psychosis
  • Relationships
